I clicked on Phlip's links and downloaded the w7 ult sp2 iso. Now, if I'm reading the guide correctly, all I have to do is make this iso I'm dling bootable and then I should be able to reinstall my windows onto a new SSD. I just bought it to replace the original HD that came with my XPS 9100 back in 2010. It's getting errors a lot more these days (even after a factory reset installation) so I thought I'd replace it before it fails. I tried to reinstalled via the backup media I made with Dell BackUP but it won't let me because the drive is only 500gb (SSD) and the original dell one was 1TB.
Ye links are dead and its really frustating. I got a laptop where hard disk crashed went to get a new one wanted to install but noticed the cd i had for my pc is professional and laptop is home, i need to home 64 bit version in dutch (i dont care the langauge, but noticed when on my msdn account that they make a difference between dutch and english version) So dont know if the key will work with english version. Its just a key from a laptop with the sticker on the bottom. Been looking for over an hour for the original version of windows but only finding dead links or sites that arent from microsoft so im doubtfull if there cracked or original versions
I have a laptop that came with windows 7 32bit preinstalled and a key provided but no install disc and want to upgrade to 64bit. I suspect the key provided is an OEM key. Will I still be able to activate the 64bit windows 7 using this key?
i was surprised when the download worked! always a little cautious when downloading things from sites i dont normally use. good to know this ones legit. ?i didnt have any problems with anything either. it downloaded just fine and worked great with the windows usb tool. got an old laptop running win7 32bit from xp which was a HUGE improvement! like no comparison. thanks techverse. ?
Yes, you will be able to activate a 64bit copy of windows 7 premium using the product key from a 32bit version of windows 7 premium. As for the laptop, download and install the same version of windows 7 that came with your laptop and use the product key provided with your laptop to activate it.

i am trying to download dell oem windows 7 home premium 64bit sp1 iso file..but after downloading and mounting it through daemon tools , in my dvd drive it shows as windows proffesional and not home premium..can you please check at your end?..have the iso's been misplaced??..i dont want to delete ei.cfg file because my pc was home premium so i presume it will automatically get activated..and i also have my genuine win7 home premium 64bit sp1 key with me..
I'd really like to reinstall windows 7 professional 64 bit oem on my studio1747 but using the Italian version ( since I'm a language enthusiast) but trying not to loose the recovery partition since it comes in soo HANDY! (off course I will also make recovery cd/dvd/usb before reinstalling, just in ase)
hi, i am downloaded windows 7 home premium oem dell and when open its a professional version,i am selected the folder windows 7 home premium dell, whats wrong ? =0By7YYbLN6mMkSDczaklNVEFfRmM&usp=sharing
I have been going through some of the material related to the ISO files and believe that you have updated the 2 32bit windows 7 ISOs but not the articles content for checksums and files sizes. The article refers to April 2016 files, but the file names say September 2016.
Also in the Skylake article -dell-windows-7-64-bit-reinstallation-sp2-oem-iso-for-a-uefi-bios/ you reference both English and multi-language ISOs. The multi-language ISO is under the NEW folder. Not sure what is under the old folder.
I just found the post 14/9/16 (with great Dell link) where you said you had issue on the 790 and 7010 (Interestingly, noted above, the Dell download for the 7010 is the English version of the Skylake ISO), but not clear why your image failed to load on the 780 (I will retest with a fresh USB stick when I can). Is this based on the 2011 DVD D0V2K? The 0x80070015 error looked like this -systems-with-the-intel-skylake-or-braswell-chipset-cannot-boot-to-dell-windows-7-media-due-to-no-usb-20?lang=EN .
The most common version of windows is Windows 7. This had many new and advanced features over the windows of its processor. In order to run your windows, you must get an original Microsoft window, which ensures you enjoy all of the features at its best. We shared the last key of Windows 7, the professional serial key of Windows 7, basic product keys of Windows 7, product keys of Windows 7 starter.
Windows 7 has several versions and those are duplicated with SP1 versions. Pre SP1 versions of windows DO NOT SUPPORT advanced format drives and therefore a drive larger than 120 gigs wont install without F6 drivers for the specific chipset of the motherboard. 32 bit versions of windows or 64 bit versions have nothing to do with being able to install on any particular dell that came with windows 7. The KEY on the COA sticker can be used on 32 or 64 bit versions there are not 2 kinds of keys. 2b1af7f3a8
